VETEK 8K Camcorder with Microphone and Grip

A camera-and-microphone setup for investigations

This VETEK offer combines a night-vision camcorder with an external microphone and a handheld support. The grip can help you hold the camera; it is not evidence of a motorized gimbal or shake-free footage.

Recording choices

The retailer lists 8K recording at 15 fps, alongside 5K at 30 fps and 4K at 60 fps. A higher frame rate may be more useful when moving through a room. The camera also lists infrared night mode, Wi-Fi, a rotating 3-inch touchscreen and 18× digital zoom.

Compare the offer before checkout

This retailer link resolves to ASIN B0BVFM37TQ, the same identifier as our VETEK IR night vision kit listing. Treat these as two offers for the same product, and check seller details and the selected bundle rather than buying both as different models.

The advertised package includes a 32GB card and two batteries. A tripod and HDMI cable are not included according to the listing. The included visible fill light is different from an IR illuminator.

Get useful audio and video

Record a short test with the microphone connected and listen through headphones afterward. Handling noise, wind and camera operation can still appear in recordings. Use a tripod for a fixed viewpoint, and document who entered the room when reviewing unusual movement.
