Description
The SensorPush HTP.xw logs air temperature, relative humidity and barometric pressure so you can review environmental changes over time. For beginners documenting a ghost hunt, it provides background measurements to compare with your written observations and recording times. It is an environmental sensor, not a detector of paranormal activity.

Which SensorPush model is this?
This listing covers the blue HTP.xw sensor, Amazon ASIN B08PKVRJJX. It is distinct from the HT1 and HT.w models. Check the selected model and included items on Amazon before ordering; the optional G1 WiFi Gateway is sold separately.
Verified features for environmental logging
- Measures temperature, relative humidity and barometric pressure.
- Records readings once per minute, with about 30 days of on-sensor storage.
- Transfers stored readings to the SensorPush mobile app when connected within Bluetooth range.
- Water-resistant construction for splashes and rain; do not treat it as submersible equipment.
- Works with the separately purchased G1 gateway for internet access to readings.
Compatibility and setup considerations
Check the current SensorPush app requirements for your iOS or Android device before buying. You need a compatible Bluetooth-enabled phone or tablet to set up and retrieve readings. The sensor itself does not provide a built-in display or a direct WiFi connection.
Bluetooth range depends on walls, obstacles and placement. Do not assume the ideal line-of-sight range applies through an old building. Without the optional gateway, plan to bring your phone within range to sync the log.
Useful ways to document a location
Follow our SensorPush HTP.xw setup and logging guide for a baseline workflow and advice on interpreting environmental changes.
Place the sensor at a recorded, fixed position and note nearby vents, open windows, heaters and people moving through the room. Compare times with your audio or video log. For a basic equipment plan, read the HauntGears beginner gear guide.
A sensor reading describes conditions at the sensor. It does not map the room, measure a distant surface, or produce a thermal image. One-minute samples can miss shorter events. A change in the graph does not identify its cause.
Buying checklist
- Choose HTP.xw if you need pressure logging as well as temperature and humidity.
- Confirm phone compatibility and whether your location has practical Bluetooth coverage.
- Budget separately for a gateway only if remote internet monitoring fits your needs.
- For immediate spot checks or a visible readout, compare other instrument types before buying.
Recordings and environmental measurements capture ordinary physical phenomena. They do not establish paranormal activity. This description is based on documentation, not personal testing.
