The GhostStop Footstep Tracker 2 geophone gives you a visible way to monitor vibrations during an investigation. Set it on a stable surface near the area you’re watching, adjust the sensitivity, and keep an eye on the illuminated bar when a bump or footstep travels through that surface.

Read movement at a glance

White LEDs show live vibration strength. A colored peak marker holds briefly after a spike, while an audible alert draws your attention to the meter. The front display counts detected events, so you can check whether activity occurred while you were looking elsewhere.

Built for a night of investigating

The sensitivity knob helps you work around background vibration. USB-C charging makes it easy to top up between sessions, and the unit can operate while connected to USB power. GhostStop lists approximately 12 hours of battery life, depending on activity.

Getting useful readings

Test your own footsteps before starting, then note nearby traffic, appliances and anyone moving around the room. A vibration reading tells you something moved; it doesn’t identify the cause or establish paranormal activity. Record the event count before switching off, because the counter resets when power is lost.
